Wi-Fi Countrywide Access

Dial-Up Access Coverage
Africa Online provides the widest nationwide access coverage in Kenya. Our ten points of presence (POPs) around the country provide our customers with a wide national network to access our services through most major population centres. As well, our wide coverage allows our customers who travel domestically with the opportunity to access services at local call rates.
Our network is accessible through local calls in Diani, Eldoret, Kericho, Kisumu, Malindi, Mombasa, Nairobi, Nakuru, Nanyuki and Nyeri.
The Africa Online Kenya's roaming service allows our dial-up customers in Kenya to connect to the Internet from almost any country in the world using their local Africa Online E-Mail address.
To do this, a customer would need to login to the roaming software installed on their computer free of charge by Africa Online, select the country he or she is in, and then choose a roaming member ISP from the list and connect. It's that easy!
The advantages of using the roaming service is that there is no change of email address as you travel, it saves you on telephone costs as you access through a local number, and support is available locally in the country that you are in, that is, you call a roaming member ISP that you use connecting for support in case of any difficulties. Customer Self Care Utility
Africa Online customers in Kenya are able to change their passwords, view their usage, and see their invoices, from their home or office using a Web based self care utility tool.
While business customers can add and remove users from their end through their system admin or I.T. personnel that has been given access to use that tool.
24 Hour Customer Support
Africa Online Kenya provides 24 hour around the clock customer telephone support at the Nairobi NOC to service the needs of home and business users alike. You can contact our customer support hotline at any hour on +254 020 2792000.
We also offer on-site support during working hours between 8:00am and 5:00pm at various points nationwide.
Anti Virus Scanning
Africa Online Kenya provides server-side anti virus scanning on e-mails passing through our mail server. This complimentary service provides a first level of defense against the possibility of a virus attack.
Anti Spam Facility
Africa Online Kenya provides an anti-spam facility to our customers. This service aids in preventing customer inboxes from being flooded with "junk" email. Please contact us to have this complimentary service enabled for you today.
Internet Parental Guidance (IPG)
Africa Online Kenya offers customers a unique opportunity to install an internet parental guidance filter on their computer to block undesirable Web content from being downloaded to their machines. This complimentary service is a particularly useful tool to protect children and young adults from viewing content which is deemed unsuitable.
Customer Relationship Management
Africa Online Kenya has in place a dedicated customer relationship management teams which works closely with all customers to monitor usage patterns and advise on product suitability. The team proactively contacts customers to discuss products, pricing, billing so as to ensure that we maximize the satisfaction of our customers.
