Joseph Barungi, General Manager- Uganda

Joseph holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Makerere University plus ACCA (UK) and CIMA (UK) qualifications. He also holds a BA degree from Makerere University in Information Science.

Prior to joining Africa Online, Joseph worked for Action for Development as the Financial Manager, Diamond Trust Properties among others.

Joseph, a Ugandan, became the General Manager of Africa Online Uganda in March 2006.

Halima Nassanga, Chief Accountant

Halima is another long time employee of ours who joined in 2001 as a debt collector. Halima has slowly and gradually moved up the Finance Department ladder.

She became a cashier and moved on to become the Revenue Account, then Financial Accountant then finally the current position she holds.

She is a true testament of growth within the operation.

Sophie Nantume - Head of Kilimanjaro Team

Sophie joined the organization in 2003 as a finance intern and became a CSR for Kilimanjaro team in April 2004.

Because of her hard work Sophie has moved from one level of responsibility to another.
